The goals of Ammo Day:

The goal of National Ammo Day is to empty the ammunition from the shelves of your local gun store, sporting goods, or hardware store and put that ammunition in the hands of law-abiding citizens. Make your support of the Second Amendment known--by voting with your dollars!

There are an estimated 75 MILLION gun owners in the United States of America. If each gun owner or Second Amendment supporter buys 100 rounds of ammunition, that�s 7.5 BILLION rounds in the hands of law-abiding citizens!

The gun/ammunition manufacturers have been taking the brunt of all the frivolous lawsuits, trying to put these folks out of business. Well, not if we can help it! And we CAN help it by buying ammunition on November 19!

Serious question. If a 50 cal hit a person dead in the nose, would it just remove the persons head, or would the 50 cal need to be a hollow point? I know it's a sick question, but I'm just curious.....

Damn it, how come I never get the memo for these things! And here I went and bought 1200 assorted rounds on Sunday at the gun show. Guess I'll have to stop off and buy a few hundred more. And by the way does Hallmark have a card for National Ammo Day cause I want to send one to Obama and Biden.

I dont know about personal wound ballistics, or national "DAYS"
But a very large number of people that I come in contact with, even regular family guys, church folks, business owners, local govt employees, etc a GREAT number of these people are BUYING AMMUNITION by the multiple thousand lots. Just yesterday 5 people told me they had purchased over a thousand rounds of centerfire.
I would reckon that MORE small arms ammunition has been purchased in the two weeks since the election than in the 12 previous months combined.
Those National Socialist liberal gunbanners are really good for GUN sales.
